How to Use Hair Dryer Diffuser?
The diffuser is very gentle on your hair. It distributes the heat without being aggressive, which is perfect for drying fine, coloured, permed or naturally curly hair.
Dry your hair using a hair dryer with a diffuser:

- Dry your hair beginning at the roots and using circular motions, always moving in the same direction. Use the diffuser with the hair dryer set at speed 1 only.
- Continue drying, keeping the hair dryer at a 90-degree angle from scalp. This will lift the roots away from the scalp giving your hair volume.
- Finish by drying the ends.
To set your hair style and achieve a ‘long-lasting’ effect, finish by blowing a ‘cool shot’ through your hair.
Add volume to your hair using a hair dryer with a diffuser:

- To add volume to your hair, dry it upside down so that the roots fall away from your scalp. Use the diffuser with the hair dryer set at speed 1 only.
- Point the hair dryer at the roots to give your hair maximum volume.
- Continue the process to the ends of your hair.
When your hair is dry, throw your hair back and brush to shape. To set the style and achieve a ‘long-lasting’ effect, finish by blowing a ‘cool shot’ through your hair.
Using a hair dryer with a concentrator:
The concentrator directs the airflow precisely, it is especially recommended for smoothing and shaping your hair. It is also used to produce more volume from the roots.

- Pre-dry your hair with the hairdryer on the highest heat setting. For drying, separate your hair into 5-cm wide sections. Place a large round brush at the root of one of the sections.
- Point the hair dryer with the concentrator at a 90-degree angle to the section and run the brush under it, beginning at the roots and working down to the tips. Your hair dryer should now be set at medium. Repeat the process several times to dry the section completely before moving on to the next section.
- Finish by turning the ends under.
To set the hair style and achieve a ‘long-lasting’ effect, finish by blowing a ‘cool shot’ through your hair.

For people with dry, frizzy, wavy hair: towel dry your hair. Run invisible styling creme and styling wax through hair while damp (this will give you a light flexible hold and prevent frizz). Then style your hair with your fingers and use the diffuser to gently dry your hair. This gives your non frizzy wavy hair with just the right amount of volume. This did wonders for my out of control, dull, frizzy thick hair.

TO ANGIE: b4 u diffuse flip hair and work in dove mouse from roots to tips then lightly diffuse and leave hair a little damp so it will not frizz. TIP: if ur hair is also naturally frizzy try a light cream for the frizz. Check how oily it is because to much will make scalp look unclean and oil

can you use a diffuser with straight hair

If your hair is drying out from using a diffuser it is because you are not putting enough moisture in it. As said by others a leave in conditioner is great especially for wavy, curly or kinky hair because the curlier/ kinkier the more naturally dry the hair is.

I have very wavy hair that gets curly when wet, so im off today to buy a blow dryer with a diffuser and concentrator. When i have my hair curly i will use the diffuser to give it a bit more volume and curl, and when i straighten my hair scince it is long, i can give it some swoops and style it.
