How to Use Hair Dryer Diffuser?

The diffuser is very gentle on your hair. It distributes the heat without being aggressive, which is perfect for drying fine, colored, permed or naturally curly hair.

Dry your hair using a hair dryer with a diffuser:

  1. Dry your hair beginning at the roots and using circular motions, always moving in the same direction. Use the diffuser with the hair dryer set at speed 1 only.
  2. Continue drying, keeping the hair dryer at a 90-degree angle from scalp. This will lift the roots away from the scalp giving your hair volume.
  3. Finish by drying the ends.

To set your hair style and achieve a "long-lasting" effect, finish by blowing a "cool shot" through your hair.

Add volume to your hair using a hair dryer with a diffuser:

  1. To add volume to your hair, dry it upside down so that the roots fall away from your scalp. Use the diffuser with the hair dryer set at speed 1 only.
  2. Point the hair dryer at the roots to give your hair maximum volume.
  3. Continue the process to the ends of your hair.

When your hair is dry, throw your hair back and brush to shape. To set the style and achieve a "long-lasting" effect, finish by blowing a "cool shot" through your hair.

I have long hair and I tried it for the first time tonight and was quite impressed! I have thick hair, so I was a bit skeptical. However, the diffuser came to the rescue. Even my son said my hair blowdryer was quieter! I felt as though my hair got dried twice as fast and it was very gentle to my hair. I was very impressed!

I have a pixie cut, and im tryingto learn different styles for i, i just got a diffuser because I have poker straight hair, and i heard that apart and aside from it giving me volume it would also give me a little wave in my hair is this true?
