Read what other users have to say or write your own review. this is a strong hair dryer to be a 1600. it gets just as hot as my 1875. this is the best dryer i have ever used hands down. my hair is thick and curly and this dryer dried it straight as you are gonna get without a pressing comb. only draw back, it is heavy and a little awkward without the handle, but the results are great if you have a little patience. Carrying case shipping tin all excellent Anonymouse from on August 29, 2008I bought this blowdryer from a beauty supply house locally. I have only used it for 2 weeks in the salon.I really liked it until I plugged it in this morning, did not even turn it on and it started smoking and a fire broke out inside of it. Scarey! Lisa from Iowa on April 3, 2008this is the best dryer I have ever owned as I said I swear by it...you have all of the controls at your finger tips and you can switch them flawlessly plus all my coworkers at the salon thinks its wild... adds some wow factor for your clients too! Amanda from ny on August 18, 2007I am a cosmetology student that is about to graduate. I bought this blow dryer from another site. I turned it on at home and it worked fine. Then I brought it to school to show my classmates and it burnt up smoke came out of it. Even though they were laughing hysterically I did not think this was funny. Guess you should consider this before buying. Alison Ratliff from Live Oak Florida` on December 9, 2005This is a great hair dryer (the best I've ever owned, so I consider it worth the investment). It does dry hair fairly quickly, but I just cut my hair pretty short, so that is also speeding things up more too. I would highly recommend it. Irena from Texas on September 28, 2005Dries fast without burning my scalp or frizzing out my hair. Reduces the need for hair products (so savings there can justify spending more for a hair dryer!)
