A diffuser is an attachment used by hairdressers to create curl, body and texture. Ideal for naturally curly, permed or wavy hair. It is not suitable for very short hair, unless it has soft grippy fingers. Volumizing diffusers have long 'fingers' that direct the heat to the roots to create extra volume. Straightening diffuser (or concentrator) attachments detangle and smooth wavy, curly or frizzy hair. All diffuser attachments should be used on the low heat setting unless instructions state otherwise.
