Anonymous: I am a stylist and have asked the question about repairing hair dryers. Unless your dryer is under warrenty, the dryer will cost more to fix than a new dryer will cost. The manufacturer will not fix it for you unless they are at fault.

I have fine, straight hair and want more volume. I tried an ionic dryer and it left my hair slick and limp. I can't seem to find just and old-fashioned dryer anymore. Any suggestions?
Diane Denney: I hear ya. I just bought a new tourmaline/ceramic hair dryer, and it's making my hair really limp. I was using my old Conair 1600 before which I didn't have that problem with, but it is really old, and I need a new one. So I have the exact same problem as you. I hope someone answers.

Anonymous: You might try looking into a local beauty supply store (except Sally Beauty supply) they don't carry replacement parts. I don't know what you have in your area for example Ruby Red Beauty Supply, or a place that sells Wigs and hair products would be your best option. I paid approx. $7.99 for 3 piece fine comb, wide comb and brush.
