Hair Dryer Diffusers
A hair dryer diffuser is an attachment used by hairdressers to create curl, body and texture. It’s ideal for naturally curly, permed or wavy hair. It is not suitable for very short hair, unless it has soft grippy fingers.
Volumizing diffusers use "fingers" to direct air to the roots for extra volume, and straightening diffusers (the concentrator type) are use to detangle and smooth textured hair. With diffusers, especially the concentrators, it's important to use them on a low heat setting unless otherwise stated.
The hair dryer diffuser allows you to be in control and set the base up in a full position. Begin squeezing the ends. Scrunching and wadding the hair up, and lifting the base with your fingers. You’d better not use the diffusers with fingers. Use your hands instead to feel the curl and see the results and shine.
