7. Use Fingers Combing
Finger combing can results well for some hair types and textures. But if your hair is easy-frizzed, keep your fingers out of your hair until it is 100% dry. (For naturally curly hair, you should touch it as little as possible by fingers when blow drying with a diffuser)
8. Keep the Correct Dampness Balance
Sometimes the time of hair drying is depond on hairstyle types, some types dries faster and some dries slower. In generally speaking, curly hair dries faster than wavy hair and straight hair, because the structure of the hair is always open in the air; Wavy hair dries faster than straight hair, but not as fast as curly hair; Straight hair dries the slowest, especially the medium to thick.
Moist from side to side equally is the key to get a perfect blanced blow drying. When you are blow drying one side, and if the other side has been dried already, just remoist it by using a spritz bottle of moisture and then blow dry.
Notice: 1) Just slightly moist the dried hair back; 2) Don't moist the dried hair too wet or even dripping, it would makes the hair hard to handle; 3) Don't dry the 100% dry hair anymore.
9. Alternate the Air Types in Blow Drying
During the blow drying process, the stylist usually use heat air flow at the begining, and use cold/cool air flow for finishing. Because the heat from the blow dryer can opens the hair's cuticle and allows a style to be formed, and the cold/cool air can forms the new created hairstyle and the straightness of the section.
After bow drying, make sure the hair is 100% dry. You can have a test with your fingers after cold/cool air blow drying.
