Dryer shuts off every 15 seconds

My Hot Tools Professional Hair dryer (Model 1099) worked wonderfully for almost a year. Now I can only use it for about 15 seconds before it automatically cuts off to cool down. I tried to see if it opens so that I can clean the filter or something, but I didn't find where it could be opened.

why not go get warranty repair?

check to make sure you clean out the dust from the back of the dryer. It probably can't breathe and then overheats
