Since my prior Vidal Sasoon Variable Setting dryer gave out, after 22 years of use. I've been searching for a decent dryer to replace it - but none of the models of hand-helds had the same characteristics that my old VS dryer had.
Luckily these bonnet style dryers have those specialized characteristics.
I don't use the bonnet as I tossed it - But I like this one because its doesn't use excessive power and the vital quality is that there is a "no heat" setting for styling, while touching up where I need to with spray.

Its 400 watt rating is excellent for those who are environmentally conscious too. Since it doesn't have the same power demands as typical 1850w dryers.

Everytime someone turns on a common 1850w dryer, there is a sudden draw off of the grid and when lots of folks turn on thier dryers (typically all of them are 1850w's) The powerr company is forced to fulfill the demand by firing up their coal & gas powered generators.

This dryer will leave a smaller carbon foot print if you really want to do your part.

The first time used itthe bonnet openned in two pieces like melted. I haven't been able to replace the bonnet where can I get it!!! Maria Torres

The dryer shut itself off after five minutes of drying. This happened with the original purchase and a replacement. apparently has a manugacturing defect.

I use, but the motor off within apparently rason,for 10 or 15 minutes.

I use and the motor stop for 10 or 15 minutes and start again, you can have a continuos work
