Died after about a year
Great dryer - but low speed on mine stopped working after about a year and 3 months later, will only run on high speed for about 5 minutes and then the motor starts straining and smoking. The safety feature is a joke - you'd think it would turn off automatically when it gets hot, but it doesn't. Was going to order another one thinking I just had a lemon but after reading the reviews, I know otherwise. It's a shame - I loved this dryer when it was working.

nice while it works

I bought the first one for it's light weight. It was great for about 6 months till the low speed stopped working. The hi speed ( inconsistent) lasted for about another 6 months then the motor burned out. Thought I'd give it another try because I liked the weight and travel ability. Bought the next one. The cord came twisted like a tie wrap. The wires inside were actually twisted.Tried to straighten out before turning on because I worried about the impedance of the current. No electrical current should flow through a mess like that! Straightened out the best I could and turned it on. Low speed was hardly blowing anything and hi speed was like low speed. This was brand new. Obviously the head of quality control is asleep at the desk if he or she is at work at all. Will be returning it of course. Will buy no more which is unfortunate because this product could be great if had better and consistent quality. Once again, probably designed to be disposable!! Too bad because business will not last long with that business ethic.

not quiet enough
it did dry the hair fast, but it did make the house noisy, too. I cannot use it in the morning thinking of the result of waking my daughter up.

It did a good job!
My daughter bought me this dryer cuz she heard me always complain about the long time I spent on drying. Unexpectedly, it did a good job, almost half the long time, really amazing!
