I am a returning customer who was actually looking to replace my metropolis hair brush, but was checking out the rest of the products again and I was surprised by the negative reviews of this hair dryer.
I bought this hair dryer three years ago and it works just as good as the day I bought it! Of course it is showing normal wear and tear, but it is still going strong. I will totally purchase this dryer again when mine finally gives out.
It may be a bit bulky to travel with in these every shrinking travel requirements, but I always make it fit. It goes everywhere with me!
Great purchase for anyone who wants a good blow out do-it-yourself with out the frizzies and frying of your ends.

We really liked the hair dryer but it burned and melted part of the casing. It is a fire hazard now. The dryer is only one year old and for the price that is ridiculous. Tried to contact the company but no response. the dryer should be replaced by the manufacturer.

I have purchased two of these hairdryers in the past three years.
Both have burned out. The first I didnt bother trying to return
for repair/replacement because I thought it would be a hassle. So I
purchased another to replace it just three weeks ago. It burned out
in less than a week! I am now having to try to get Metropolis to
either repair or replace at least one of them. My hairstylist had
to go through two months worth of phone calls to the company to
finally get a replacement when hers burned out. So well see... I
loved the way the dryers worked when they worked but I am VERY
disappointed in the quality of the product. 10 year warranty
indeed!
