Vidal Sassoon Professional Styling Hair Dryer

I have had this dryer for more than 5 years and its wonderful. I have to replace comb parts and that's it. My hair is long and thick as well. It does shut off because of overheating...but after a few minutes it cools off and I start it up again. This dryer straightens my hair better than any dryer that I have ever owned. My mother had one of these same dryer before I purchased mine and she still has her's as well. I love this dryer and wouldn't trade it for any other one.

I purchased the above dryer no more than 12 mos. ago, took very
good care of it. Had another dryer I often used as well, in my other
bathroom. The Sassoon abruptly quit and my Conair which is about 5 yrs
old is still working. Sent two e-mails before Christmas of '09. I was told
to write again after Jan. 11, as the person to handle this would be out of
the office. I have written to him and still have not had the courtesy of a
reply. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

All I want to know is where I can by replacement attachments for the Vidal Sassoon Model VS540 hair dryer. The dryer works great on my hair it just I need to replace my comb and brush attachments.

My VS 540 has lasted about 10 years with frequent use. It does tend to overheat and shut down on high, but it dries my thick hair quickly, gets rid of the frizz, and has been a cost effective product. One call to Helen of Troy with a chg card and replacement combs arrive quickly.

have two of these dryer and they are not holding up to standards one for and the other one is ma daughter they cuts off during drying your hair

It's a very good hair dryer, however, finding the replacement combs were difficult. I wish they would make these replacement combs available at a beauty supply store or wal-mart where they sell the dryers. But until then here is a copy of the order information I from Helen of Troy. I just order 3 replacement combs by phone. Hope this helps.

I agree with all who say that the dryer is great(trust me, it is). I've had mine for nearly 6 years now but like everyone else's, the combs are all but gone. I have since been wondering how to get replacements. Thanks to this website

Here is the address to get replacement brushes and combs.This is coming right off the order form. As I said they are $4 each and $2 for S&H. I usually order 2-3 at a time so I have them and the S&H is the same for any amount you seem to order.

I have searched your website left and right up and down.....I have had no success in finding attachments for my blow dryer.....after reading other reviews.....I have come to realize that you donot have the attachments....I have call the telephone number.....when a person picks up the phone they just hold it....I really have enjoyed my blow dryer being that I have had it for many years.....I have always brought Vidal Sassoon hair dryers....I even brought a second one....because I could not get replacement combs....I WILL NOT BEG YOU COMPANY TO OFFER REPLACEMENT COMBS...I WILL SPEND MY MONEY ELSEWHERE....IT'S OKAY TO BUY A CHEEPER BRAND IF YOU HAVE TO CONTINUE TO BUY THE DRYER TO GET THE COMB.......YOU WILL LOOSE LOTS OF SERVICE...Youlanda Coleman-Guice

VS540 is a good styling hairdryer, I like to use it and I love its attachment. I can conveniently style my hair with the comb and brush, and I completely believe that I have bought the right one with the fair price.

I was just looking for the hair dryer with this kind of shape, cuz my stylist suggested that that's good for styling limp hair. After 2 months' use, it has absolutely changed my the status， my hair is much better than when it was, the days without this Vidal Sassoon hair dryer. My hair becomes straight & manageable, I really feel happy. :-)

I posted earlier that you can order them BUT I just sent in the form to get new brushes for myself so I don't have the address off hand. when they arrive i will try and remember to post the address here. As I said before it is $4 per attachment and then $2 S&H. I have ordered them several times.

I have a model VS540 TYPE D21. It's about 18 years old. I also have a new 1875W IONIC, still in the box, about 8 years old. I would like a new comb attachement for the old VS450, just to see how long it will last. Where can I find one?
