This is the only hairdryer that works to style my fine, limp hair. The style and power of this hair dryer are outstanding. It is very easy to use and does the job in minutes. A great product!

My Vidal Sassoon dryer switch-slider is broken. The switch is still functioning normally but since the slider is broken I am unable to switch it on and off. Fortunately it is set at on and so to switch it off I have to unplug it from the wall. Is it possible to order a replacement slider?
The only number of any kind I can see on the dryer, on the handle, is 4804.

This hair dryer is The Best for thick, curly and frizzy medium to long hair! I have been using this hair dryer, or a version of it, for at least fifteen years! For someone who is "all thumbs" with the brush in one hand and the dryer in the other, this dryer solves it!

I bought this item again(six years apart)and I still have problems with the attachments breaking after a few months. Can't they make them more sturdy and where can I buy replacement parts instead of reordering them? I think the Sally stores sell them.

This dryer is great in drying my thick hair! I can't remember how long I've had it, but it has been years! I've never had a problem with it shutting off even on the highest setting. The reason I give the dryer a 4 is because of the combs! They need to be stronger for our hair!

I love this dryer, the only thing I'm having trouble with is that I need replacement parts. After reading some of the other reviews, I know where to order them from. This dryer is excellent for relax/ or natural hair. It really gets the hair straight.

I love this Dryer, the only problem is that you really can't use it on the Highest setting, it shuts off after a few seconds (Thats th eonly reason I rated it a 4 instead of 5)so I just use it on the 2nd highest setting. This dryer leaves my hair bouncy and shiny every time I use it.

I was using this styler and a big flash/spark came out of it. This tripped the circuit breaker in MY House...the breaker on the styler DID Not trip...this could have been a very serious problem had my hair been burned...What's up???? this is a dangerous problem..please note I was not near any water at the time. I was also skeptical about this product, but have been pleasantly surprised. The fine tooth combed helped straighten my hair from the root. For all women who relax/texturize your hair, this dryer is a great buy. It does overheat (which is why I rated it a 4), but after 5 minutes, you're back in action. Absolutely recommend it.

I have had this dryer for more than 5 years and its wonderful. I have to replace comb parts and that's it. My hair is long and thick as well. It does shut off because of overheating...but after a few minutes it cools off and I start it up again. This dryer straightens my hair better than any dryer that I have ever owned. My mother had one of these same dryer before I purchased mine and she still has her's as well. I love this dryer and wouldn't trade it for any other one.

I purchased the above dryer no more than 12 mos. ago, took very
good care of it. Had another dryer I often used as well, in my other
bathroom. The Sassoon abruptly quit and my Conair which is about 5 yrs
old is still working. Sent two e-mails before Christmas of '09. I was told
to write again after Jan. 11, as the person to handle this would be out of
the office. I have written to him and still have not had the courtesy of a
reply. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
