I have the answer to finding the replacement combs for Vidal Sassoon 540 hand held blow dryer- go to your neighborhood beauty supply store (except Sally Beauty supply) and you probably can find replacement combs to fit your hand held blow dryer.

Good dryer, but attachments are of extremely poor quality. Can obtain additional attachments by contacting VS at 1-800-487-7273. Am looking for similar dryer with attachments of better quality. Know of any?

The dryer is great, BUT, I get very upset about having to buy a new dryer whenever I need attachments. I have two and yesterday I almost brought another one, JUST for the attachments. This is a great product, it really does the job. But the comb attachments dont last long. I am in need of new combs. I would hate to have to buy a new dryer just for the attachments.

If you intend to use the brush, be aware that it is so soft as to be useless for styling.

I have had this hair dryer for about 4 years. I don't use it that often probably a total of 5 times a month. It drys great and is easy to use with or without the attachments.
