CHI Ceramic Ionic Hair Dryer

I purchased this hairdryer in June 2008, and the heating element broke yesterday! When you own a dryer that costs this much, you don't usually have a "back up dryer". Do I buy another CHI and hope that it doesn't break again? I loved it when it worked, but I'm seriously thinking I don't want to chance it.

It has given service for more than 2 years already, and nothing wrong with it, so i did make a perfect deal at this CHI high quality hair dryer, it makes my paid worth!

heard of its magical function in making hair smooth from a stylist, I bought one for myself 3 weeks ago, and in return, it made my hair smoother than ever before, I dont regret my paying that much on it, it's worth.

it works so good, it may create sleek hair, my hair looks much more healthy than ever before, and i have no need to do the medical hair treatment any longer. i like this baby, it's worth my money, though alittle more..

thanks for this ionic hair dryer, it brings very beautiful look to my hair, my hair is much shinier than ever before. I like my hair dryer as much as hair.

For a blowdryer it's okayyyy. After 2.5 years this blowdryer is still working like it did on Day 1, but I've also noticed how damaged my hair has become over this 2 year period. While on vacation recently, I used a cheaper mainstream dryer, and my hair performed much better & looked more natural. The Chi is good because: 1). It's quieter than others, 2). It gets really hot & dries FAST, and 3). It looks professional. But I'm not sold on the "ceramic" and "ionic" features. Not when my hair comes out looking like dried out straw after using it. Yet when I use other hair dryers my hair looks bouncy & natural. For people with thick, healthy locks, your hair will do fine with this Chi. For people with fine, thin hair, I would stay away from the heat.

I am so glad I have had this professional hair dryer, it could blow very fast more than you can imagine. plus, it makes you feel comfortable after using it. I highly recommend this hair dryer..

it's a very quiet hair dryer when it works, and I only have complaint about its power, I love the hair dryers blow very high-speed airflow, cuz it makes easy to style the hair~~~~am gonna buy another hair dryer instead, I have picked a Sedu already, hmmmm..

This CHI is the quietest blow dryer i have used. I could use it in early morning, without waking my husband up, he used to complain the noise of my last dryer when I turn it on in the morning. and the function, there is no difference between my last dryer, worked well enough. am willing to give it 4 stars; if beautiful appearance, then 5 stars. ^-^

i bought my second hair dryer( this Chi) 3 weeks ago, my sister took my Wigo hair dryer to her college, but i found that this chi works better than Wigo, like leaving my hair shiny, my hair is smooth, and much silky than ever before. the ceramic technology could really maintain even temperature that resist color-fading. It works SO GOOD, CHI is a very good brand, highly recommend it.
